God will go with you

“ When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.” Isaiah 43:2

Sometimes in life it may seem like so much is going on at once, financial problems, health issues, car problems, etc… It may seem like there is no way out.  It may seem like plans were changed.
One thing is for sure, God goes with us. He has a plan and purpose for everything that happens in life. He knows what lies ahead. He knows how the problem will be solved. He knows when the problem will be solved. God is in control. Just keep trusting. You may have to take it day by day or minute by minute. Do what you know to do. (Read your Bible, pray, go to church, etc…)  God has you in his hand and you are never out of His care!

🎵 God will make a way
Where there seems to be no wayHe works in ways we cannot seeHe will make a way for me
He will be my guideHold me closely to His sideWith love and strength for each new dayHe will make a way, He will make a way🎵

Some good reminders

I love the good reminders that God gives to me

For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.” Isaiah 41:13

Whatever we face in life we just have to remember that God’s got this!

God is bigger than our problems we face.

A storm won’t last forever. God is with us in the midst of any storm we face.

“The will of God will never take you where the comfort of God can’t dry your tears. “

“When we feel weighted down by the anxieties of life, The Lord can lift us up and give us an unspeakable comfort”

“Everything that happens in my life is filtered through the hands of a loving God”

🎵 1) When I feel discouraged, forsaken, and forgoten
Jesus is precious to me.
In all my conditions, he is my great physician.
Jesus is precious to me.
He's comfort in sorrow, He's the only hope for tomorrow.
Jesus is precious to me.
He's all that I pray for, what more could I ask for?
Jesus is precious to me.

Chorus) Jesus is precious, he is so precious.
Jesus is precious to me.
And he is my Savior, he's Lord and my Master.
Jesus is precious to me.🎵

God- Our Comfort

Thankful that God comforts us.

I looked up what Comfort in the Bible means
The basic concept for comfort in both the Old and New Testaments is encouragement, whether by words or the presence of another to help in time of need. Synonymous words are console, help, give relief, cheer up, exhort, and fear not.”

I, even I, am he that comforteth you: who art thou, that thou shouldest be afraid of a man that shall die, and of the son of man which shall be made as grass;” Isaiah 51:12

When God comforts is, we can comfort others.
Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.” 2 Corinthians 1:3-4

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.” Psalm 23:4

As ye know how we exhorted and comforted and charged every one of you, as a father doth his children, That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory.” 1 Thessalonians 2:11-12

🎵 The Comforter has come, the Comforter has come!
The Holy Ghost from heaven, the Father's promise given;
O spread the tidings 'round wherever man is found:
The Comforter has come! 🎵

Think about how God does comfort you. It is a wonderful thought!

God is good to give encouragement

Just some encouragement that God has given me. Sometimes it takes time to heal when you go through hard seasons of life  but I am thankful for encouragement that God gives!

“If it wasn’t for the struggle you wouldn’t have strength. God is always building you even when it seems like he is breaking you”

“In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.“ Psalm 138:3

“Your needs
Your worries
Your burdens
Your wounds
God is taking care of it. “

“Your heart is not too heavy for God to carry”

“You're not alone - Jesus is with you
He said he always would abide
just speak his name you'll feel his presence
You're not alone - He's by your side“

“When you are feeling down, go be a blessing to someone else”

When your eye of faith is dim
Still hold on to Jesus sink or swim
Still at his footstool Bow the Knee
And Israel’s God thy peace shall be”

Just a few good hymns

The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him. “ Psalm 28:7

Amazing Grace:
The Lord hath promised good to me,
  His word my hope secures;
He will my shield and portion be
  As long as life endures.”

He will be my shield and portion!

It is Well
But, Lord, ’tis for Thee, for Thy coming we wait,
  1. The sky, not the grave, is our goal;
Oh, trump of the angel! Oh, voice of the Lord!
Blessed hope, blessed rest of my soul!”

Jesus is coming again!

I am thine Lord
O the pure delight of a single hour
That before Thy throne I spend,
When I kneel in prayer, and with Thee, my God,
I commune as friend with friend!”

We can spend time with God through prayer each day!!

Higher Ground
Lord lead me up the mountain side,
I dare not climb without my Guide;
And, heaven gained, I’ll gaze around,
with grateful heart from higher ground.”

Footprints of Jesus
Then at last, when on high He sees us,
our journey done,
we will rest where the steps of Jesus
end at His throne.”

Take the time today to listen to some good music. It will help you 😀🎵🎶

Don’t Worry, God will take care of you

Pray More Worry Less

Sometimes as humans, it is easier said than done. Last night I found myself worrying over something I could not control. I had to remember that God is in control. I can pray and leave the rest up to God
“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4:6-7
*We can take even our little worries to God.

“ In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul.”
Psalm 94:19
*We can go to God’s Word for Comfort

Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
Matthew 6:25
*God will take cares of us. God will provide our needs. We can rest in the promise that He will take care of His Own

🎵Why worry, when you can pray?
Trust Jesus, He will be your stay.
Don't be a doubting Thomas,
lean fully on His promise,
Why worry, worry, worry, worry when you can pray?
When you can pray, when you can pray, when you can pray🎵

🎶 Be not dismayed whatever betide
God will take care of you
Beneath His wings of love abide
God will take care of you
God will take care of you
Through everyday o'er all the way
He will care for you
God will take care of you 🎶
💜So today, take you worries to God with your worries. Trust God to take care of you. Trust His timing Trust His plan for you. 💜

Friends

Friends

A couple examples In the Bible,

Jonathan and David
“And it came to pass, when he had made an end of speaking unto Saul, that the soul of Jonathan was knit with the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul.“ 1 Samuel 18:1

Paul, Priscilla and Aquila
Greet Priscilla and Aquila my helpers in Christ Jesus:Who have for my life laid down their own necks: unto whom not only I give thanks, but also all the churches of the Gentiles.” Romans 16:3-4

We need to choose to have the right friends and we need to be the right friend for others.

*Be the friend that encourages others. Encourage your friends to do right and keep doing right. Encourage them with scripture.
Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.” Proverbs 27:17

*Pray for your friends. Be the friend that others can count on you to pray.
And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.” Job 42:10.

*Be a loyal friend.

“Be the kind of friend you would like to have.”

“A friend is one who strengthens you with prayers, blesses you with love, and encourages you with hope”

“A dear friend makes everyday beautiful”

The first verse of Take Time to Be Holy says to make friends with God’s children

“Take time to be holy, speak oft with thy Lord;
Abide in Him always, and feed on His Word.
Make friends of God’s children, help those who are weak,
Forgetting in nothing His blessing to seek.”

The Lord is our helper!

Thankful that we as Christians have a helper in life. Our helper is Jesus. He is able to help, and does help, when none else can; he has promised to be the helper of his people.

One of my favorite verses:
“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” Isaiah 41:10

In times of trouble, God is our help.
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” Psalm 46:1

It is personal. “Mine”
“Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul.” Isaiah 54:4

It is a promise that we can take with us. (You can use your 5 fingers for “The Lord is my helper”
“So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.” Hebrews 13:6

A song that is not heard too often
A Mighty Fortress is our God

 A mighty fortress is our God, a bulwark never failing;
Our helper He, amid the flood of mortal ills prevailing:
For still our ancient foe doth seek to work us woe;
His craft and pow’r are great, and, armed with cruel hate,
On earth is not his equal.”

As you go about your day, remember you have a helper!

Smile 😊

 Smile 😀

Life can get hard at times but we as Christians have a reason to smile 😀

1)We are saved on on our way to Heaven

2)The Lord is on our side

“ The Lord is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?” Psalm 118:6

3)The Lord is our helper

Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul.

Psalm 54:4

4)We are forgiven

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9

5)God daily loadeth us with benefits.

“Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.” Psalm 68:19

Smiling is contagious. So take time to remember why you have a reason to smile 😊

Oh, say, but I’m glad, I’m glad,

Oh, say, but I’m glad,

Jesus has come and my cup’s overrun;

Oh, say, but I’m glad.

Our words

A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth: and a word spoken in due season, how good is it!” Proverbs 15:23

We need to watch our words. Our words can hurt others or they can help and heal others. I would much rather be one that uses my words to help and heal others.
1)Send an encouraging Bible verse
2)Write a note encouraging someone to do continue doing right
3)Give a compliment
4)Tell somebody “I’m praying for you”

Due Season- God can use our words at just the right time to encourage someone who needs the encouragement

We also should use our words to share the Gospel. The Lord is soon returning. Even if it is just sharing a Gospel Tract. We can even share the Gospel on Social Media.

Pray and ask God to help you say the right words!

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue. Death and life are in the power of the tongue Death and life are in the power of the tongue So be a life giver today”

God’s Faithfulness

We have a faithful God. God’s faithfulness helps sustain us. God is faithful to fulfill all of his promises.

“No matter what lies ahead, God is faithful”
Some good verses on God’s Faithfulness.

 - “Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;”

2 Thessalonians 3:3- “But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.”

1 Corinthians 1:9- “God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Lamentations 3:23- “ They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.”

It is so good to know that we can depend on God to be there for us. Life may not always be fair but God is faithful. God is faithful yesterday, tomorrow and always.
A few quotes:
“ Never give up on God because God has never given up on you”
In God’s faithfulness lies eternal security.” ― Corrie Ten Boom
There is no pit so deep, that God’s love is not deeper still.” ― Corrie Ten Boom
“God is always faithful even in the midst of hard times.”

Transitions

“And the Lord, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.“ Deuteronomy 31:8

Transitions are not always easy times of life. One thing is for sure, God never leaves us during transition times. We can rely on the Lord

There are unknowns during transition times. God sees the future during these times. We can trust Him. He knows what is best for us. Keep looking to God to guide you and see you through the transition times.

Sometimes you may have to take one day at a time. Keep reading your Bible and praying. Stay connected to others. Remember that God can use you wherever you are at. Remember that as long as you have breath, God has a purpose for your life.

A couple of quotes that were good reminders to me:
“You are where God wants you to be at this very moment. Every experience is part of His Divine plan”
“God will take you through places you don’t understand just to bring you to the place where he needs you to be. Trust Him”
