Thankful for God’s word. 

The Bible shows the way to be saved

“ That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. “ Romans 10:9

“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.“ Romans 10:13

The Bible is a lamp and a light 💡 

“ Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” Psalm 119:105

The Bible gives comfort

Psalms is my favorite book. There is so much encouragement in the Psalms 

God gives comfort: “ Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; 4 Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.” 2 Corinthians 2:3-4

The Bible gives joy

“ But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.”

Psalm 1:2

The Bible gives and sustains life 

“ But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” Matthew 4:4

The Bible will stand forever

“The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.” Isaiah 40:8 

Take time to read your Bible each day. Reading your Bible will help you. ​

Praise

​

Praise Him Praise Him Jesus our Blessed Redeemer…” 

“Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.” Psalm 150:6

“Praise activates God in our life. “

We have a lot to praise God for. I will just mention a few. His faithfulness- He is always faithful. Goodness- He is so good. Omnipotent- He is all powerful. Omnipresent- He is with us. 

The Bible especially Psalms mentions a lot about praise. Here a few verses: 

“ I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High.” Psalm 9:2

“Rejoice in the Lord, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright.” Psalm 33:1

“My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed: I will sing and give praise.“ Psalm 57:7

“Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee.” Psalm 67:3 

Paul and Silas prayed and sang praises: 

“And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.“ Acts 16:25

God is worthy of our praise. 

Even in the difficult times, keep praising the Lord. 

Take time each day to praise the Lord. 

“ Praise him, praise him, 

praise him in the morning,
praise him in the noontime.
Praise him, praise him, 
praise him when the sun goes down.”

Mothers are a Treasure

​“A mother’s love is more beautiful than any fresh flower” 

Mothers are special people. They help to cheer you on. They are a treasure 

This will be the 2nd Mother’s Day that my mom has been in Heaven. I miss being able to call her and share about my life. I am thankful that she is in Heaven. 

My mother in law has been a wonderful blessing to me! She is a wonderful friend as well. I know I can text her about just anything and I always look forward to texting with her. 

This past year, God brought an “adopted” mom into my life. She helps support and cheers me on. 

God has given wonderful praying ladies in my life who check in on me. I am thankful for the ladies God has placed in my life!  

 

“Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised.” Proverbs 31:30

We are on the Winning Side!

​Just wanted to share a little good news today. This world is not our final home. We are on the winning side! 

“And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.” 2 Kings 6:16

“Well, I am on the winning side
Yes, I am on the winning side
Out in sin no more will I abide
I’ve enlisted in the fight
For the cause of truth and right
Praise the Lord
I’m on the winning side”

“What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?“ Romans 8:31 

God is for us! 

“Oh, victory in Jesus, my Savior forever
He sought me and bought me with His redeeming blood
He loved me 'ere I knew Him and all my love is due Him
He plunged me to victory beneath the cleansing flood”

We can have victory through Jesus. 

Yes we may have problems sometimes and we may face hard days but this is not the end. We have Heaven awaiting us! It will be worth it all when we see Christ. Keep running in the race. Keep pressing on. Keep sharing God’s Word!
