1 Corinthians 16:18- “ For they have refreshed my spirit and yours: therefore acknowledge ye them that are such.

For they have refreshed my spirit”

By their coming and presence; the very sight of them gave him joy and pleasure,

and yours;
his spirit and theirs, in divine things, being the same; they were of one heart and soul; they had the same love, and were of one accord, and of one mind

therefore acknowledge ye them that are such;
as these men; know them, have an affection for them, show respect to them, highly esteem of them for their works' sake; 

What does it mean to be refreshed? It is to be made fresh, to revive, to enliven, to invigorate, to rejuvenate, to energize, to restore, to recharge, or to revitalize

When you refresh another emotionally, you are refreshed by peace and contentment. When you refresh another spiritually, you are refreshed by the grace and love of God

How can you refresh others? 

1)Care for others 

2) Help Move People Forward

you have opportunities to lift up the people around you in tremendous ways.  Going to someone’s boss to let them know an employee was helpful, affirming someone in an email, giving shout-outs to those that help you, and just being generous about applause can do good things for your soul.

We can share Bible verses with each other. Pray for others 

3)Be Generous. 

Even if you cannot give financially, we can give our time or talents.

Blessings

​

The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.” Proverbs 10:22

I love the fall season. I love seeing the changing of leaves. It reminds me how blessed we are as Christians. 

1)The Lord never leaves or fails us. 

“ And the Lord, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.” Deuteronomy 31:8

2)The Lord always provides what we need

“ But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:19

3)The Lord takes care of me 

“ But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.31 Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.” Matthew 10:30-31 

4)The Lord gives good praying friends to walk with us in life. 

“ Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.”

Thankful for friends that help sharpen me

5)The Lord gives us 24/7 access to the throne room of God 

“ Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” Hebrews 4:16

We don’t deserve God’s blessInca but I am thankful God gives his blessings

He's given us so many blessings
Undeserving
That's what we are
We ought to THANK him
LOVE and PRAISE him
A little more today
And a whole lot more tomorrow🎵

Jesus cares

🎵 Jesus knows all about our struggles,
He will guide till the day is done;
There's not a friend like the lowly Jesus–
No, not one! no, not one!🎵

We can go directly to God! God cares about our struggles whether they be physical or mental struggles  The Father is your Heavenly Father, and He only wants the best for you. Just as an earthly father would want to help his child, the Father wants to help us in our struggles. Even though God never promises to take away our mental health struggles, He will always walk with us through every storm. 

⭐️Keep reading your Bible and praying.  God can give verses to help. 

“ Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. ”

Matthew 11:28

“ Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.” 

Matthew 6:34

“ Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” 

John 14:27

“ Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” Philippians 4:6

⭐️Stay close to the people who want to help you. 

If you look around, you will find people who will pray for you.  Jesus can place people in your life who will encourage you and help strengthen you.

Blessings

“I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.“ Psalm 37:25

God is always faithful! 😀

I am thankful that through it all God I can trust in Jesus. Jesus never fails I am thankful that God goes with me each day of the year. 

Every year on July 26th(since I have been an adult) I think on the past year. The blessings, the burdens, the people who pray for me, the people who invest in my life and I think of my next year of life. 

I pray that in this upcoming year, I can continue to be encouragement and cheerleader to those around me. I pray that God gets the glory. 

Not only is God is with me, God is with you 😀

Keep Going. Keep Staying Faithful

Keep on Walking. Keep on Going. Keep Staying Faithful. 

Sometimes life gets hard and we don’t know how to make it. Sometimes we start to worry about the future.  Sometimes we just have to keep walking and take each day, one step at a time. God will help us and lead us. We don’t have to worry about 2 months from now. Just go about your day and lean on God today. Don’t worry about how you are going to make it 3 months from now. Rely on God’s strength today. Just keep walking and doing what you know to do each day. Read your Bible. Pray. Show up to Work and Work. Go to church. God will meet your need daily. Just keep trusting 

A few verses on trusting in the Lord: 

“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. [6] In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6

“ “He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.” Psalm 112:7

“ Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. 4 Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength:”  Isaiah 26:3-4

You are going to make it!

🎵 God will make a way

Where there seems to be no way
He works in ways we cannot see
He will make a way for me

He will be my guide
Hold me closely to His side
With love and strength for each new day

“You are going to make it”  In 2020, I started facing some trials with my mom’s passing being the first. Last year, there were a lot of hard days. One of my friends told me to keep encouraging. One of my friends told me to keep reading my Bible, praying and trusting God. I did those things. It did not make the problems go away but God was with me. God kept me going. God held me in His arms.  God gave me verses and songs when I needed them. I still have some health struggles but I am seeing more positive in my life. There are still moments where I struggle but God helps me through.  God has placed wonderful friends and family in my life who have helped me. 

I have been reading a devotional on 10 encouraging reasons for trials. One of the reasons for trials is so that we can help others. I hope that even though struggles I can help others. I pray that the verses I send can be an encouragement to those that I send it to. I pray that when someone else is going through a struggle, I can remind them that God is with them! 

“ When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.” Isaiah 43:2 

You may not see how you are going to make it but just keep doing what you know to do(reading your Bible, praying and trusting) God will help you make it through.  

“You are going to make it, God will see you through” 

What does God do for us?

1)God is with us 

“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” Isaiah 41:10

2)God will hold us

“For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.” Isaiah 41:13

3)God loves us 

“  The Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.”

Jeremiah 31:3

4)God Cares for us 

“ Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” 1 Peter 5:7

5)God will supply our need

"But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:19

We are never out of God’s care or his reach. He holds us in his hands

🎵 And He knows where I am

Every hour of every day
He knows each thought I think
He knows each word that I might say
And although there were times
I stepped out of His will
I've never been out of His care🎵

Treasure from my mom.

April 21 would have been my mom’s birthday. She  celebrating  in Heaven 😀 It has been easier as time has passed but there are still some days I think of her extra 

Things I learned from my mom

1)Spent time each day with God

2)Be an encouragement “cheerleader” to others

3)Stay faithful to God

4)I did not learn to play piano from her but my love for piano playing started from her. 

5)My mom had a love for children especially babies (she passed that love to me 😀)
