We have an Anchor

​ 

Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;” Hebrews 6:19

Anchor- that which supports or keeps one steadfast in the time of trial or of doubt. It is an emblem of hope. "If you fear, Put all your trust in God: that anchor holds."

These are four deep anchors that can preserve us in any storm: the Word of God, worship, prayer and the Holy Spirit.

steadfast and sure while the billows roll;
fastened to the Rock which cannot move,
grounded firm and deep in the Saviour’s love!🎵

I was talking to a good friend the other day about some of my health issues/anxiety. I told her that I try to keep a smile on my face through it all. Yes, there are times I don’t really feel like smiling but I have learned no one wants to see someone who frowns all the time. 

I love spring and sunshine! 

Life is not always easy but the Lord goes with us! Just wanted to share some of my favorite verses: 

“ But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.” Psalm 3:3 

“ For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.” Psalm 84:11 

“ Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” Isaiah 41:10
